William would be pleased

Back to my class at Blackheath today and look what was waiting for me. Laraine has been so busy over the Xmas break making this beautiful version of my Emperors Wheel quilt. William Morris applique blocks machine appliqued and the centre compass was her first go at foundation piecing. What a great job and a delight to look at. Maybe it will be quilted and bound in time for our quilt show in April? The way Laraine works I think so!

  1. That is a very good quilt! Looks like very precise piecing and good design.

  2. Yes I think William would be please I think it is very soft and beautiful use of William's fabrics and with the appique it gives a different take on your Emperors Wheel. I should be working... but the Boss won't know. I would prefer to be PATCHWORKING.
