I received this pic recently form Nancy Arseneault with her version of my Mariners centre. WOW!
The applique is from a design by Erin Russek and the quilting is wonderful. Thanks Nancy. Check out her other quilts here.
Margaret from Gerringong was in a recent class for the Basic mariners Compass and made hers into a cutting board holder - great idea.
She also made the Friendship Ring quilt - beautiful combination of colours.
Annette from the Penrith Patchwork class has been sewing this Jacobean Star for a while but it was worth the wait! Just some borders to go.
And Susie is so excited to see hers coming together too.
Check this stunner out - and it's mine! I recently won a giveaway on Martha's blog and if you know me you'll know how much I love vintage linen. Martha has made this from a cross-stitched tablecloth. Now I just need a dress from to put it on. There's no way I could ever wear it and get it dirty!
Thanks again Martha - can't wait to see it.
I've recently added five new PDF patterns of some of my best selling quilts to my Etsy shop. Instant download so you can get started sewing right away. Go on over and check them out.
I wish I could take one of your classes -- your students make the most beautiful quilts!
ReplyDeleteYour patterns are so geometrically complex and really interesting - you must have been good at geometry at school, or is it just something you've picked up as a quilter? I was rubbish at Maths at school ... still am! xCathy
ReplyDeleteHow lucky for you to win that beautiful apron! I can see why you dont want to actually use it. Nancy's version of your Mariners centre is stunning. The colours and applique are so bright and cheerful. I really love your Jacobean Star pattern. Might have to make another one!
ReplyDeleteLove that compass quilt at the top! Wow piecing and appliqué
