Last weekend I was off to Forster/Tuncurry for a workshop with the Seaside Heritage Quilters. What a great bunch of girls! A good time was has by all.
They tackled the NYB blocks with great flair and a few worked on some blocks form my Lots of Dots quilt. What an amazing use of striped fabric and it saved lots and lots of foundation piecing to get the same effect.
There were some funny girls in the room and they all made me feel so welcome (and well fed!).
Linda from Bathurst has steamed ahead to finish her Jacobean Star - looks fab. Even has mitred corners!
And Sue started this quilt early last year so was glad to see the end of it this week. Perseverance pays off doesn't it.
Daphne thought she's bitten off more than she could chew with this wonky zig zag but it looks fantastic.
Jan from my Top Ryde class went above and beyond with these NYB blocks - I love it!
And you can see it at our Springwood Quilt Show too.
This is Jan's as well - the start of All at Sea but different.
Don't forget to come visit the show 22-24 April as I'm the featured quilter this year. Come and say hello!
We have 135 quilts to show you. Entires have closed and now the fun begins with arranging them.
