Busy, busy!

Lots of students' work in this post...
Susan's beautiful Sunflower blocks coming together slowly. She's new to EPP but had done a great job.
This is the first finish I've seen of my Scrap Happy quilt from a recent Quilters Companion magazine. Sue from Orange used heaps of scraps to make this beauty. Then she brought this Supernova along for show and tell. Busy girl!
This is the workshop group from Schoolhouse Quilters in Orange and the projects they worked on over a recent weekend. Well done everyone! The venue was an 1800s schoolhouse in Lucknow. Great sewing space!
Bronwyn's Faux Wedding Ring top is another scrapbuster. Appliquéd scallops with foundation pieced sashing. Looks great. And below is her version of my Strippy Sampler. Don't you love that large print strip running thru it - and the feet too!
Lyndal has sent this NYB top off to the quilters and has done a lovely job for a newbie to foundation piecing. Can't wait to see it quilted.
I started classes recently at Sew Can I, a lovely shop in Werrington . Lots of excited students learning the finer points of "points". Karen will be one of the traders at our Springwood Quilt Show on at the end of April. Check out the show blog for details.
How would you like to win one of these? Several lucky quilters will receive one for their work after I helped judge at the Royal Easter Show with Kay Haerland. And fellow QuiltNSW member Jane Gibson was Chief Steward for the Srts and Craft sections.

I'm off to Forster/Tuncurry in a couple of days for  a weekend of workshops with Seaside Heritage Quilters. Should be fun!
