Back into it!

Some recent class action...
Susan's fabulous East of New York based on my NYB pattern. Indigos and terracotta - perfect!
And it's her first time entry in Sydney Quilt Show in June.
Moyra has been on this Sue Cody Tree of Life for quite a while but it was certainly worth it.
She's now an applique expert!

And Patrya has taken her Lots of Dots to another level with that scalloped border.
Why didn't I think of that!

I had two workshops with Eastwood Quilters recently. Day one was a Basic mariners compass and most girls finished with great results. Can't wait to see what they turn into.
Day two was the Pickled Fish block. Not a quick project but they all look great!
This is a collage of Stephanie's from Hobbysew Top Ryde class.

One other hat I wear is a committee member of QuiltNSW and as such I helped organise our Away Meeting last weekend in the Blue Mountains. We had the wonderful Jenny Kee as our guest speaker and she was fabulous! Rachaeldaisy demonstrated her quilting techniques and there was also a workshop with Margaret Sampson George.
It was a BIG weekend for all the committee but so worth it - we had an amazing 117 quilters
at the meeting - a record number since 1999.

 Working hard at Marg's workshop.

Lastly, Sydney Quilt Show entries have now closed and it's nearly  time
to get that label and a sleeve on your quilt!

  1. You have certainly been busy tutoring and your students have excelled in each project. I’m sure Susan will be excited to see her Quilt hanging at the Show always a very exciting time.
